A win would secure qualification for the East Asian outfit, whereas South Africa will be eyeing an upset as its qualification scenario into the knockouts hangs by a thread.

Argentine Facundo Tello will be the referee for the South Korea vs South Africa Group A encounter.
Tello made his officiating debut in 2013 in the Argentinian second division. He has gone on to officiate prominent finals, including the Supercopa Argentina 2023-24, Copa Libertadores 2024 and Copa Sudamericana 2024.
The Argentine had previously officiated two group-stage matches at the tournament, as well as the high-profile quarterfinal upset between Portugal and Morocco at the 2022 World Cup.
Across 433 matches in his career, the 44-year-old has shown 2,030 yellow cards and 149 red cards, averaging 4.69 bookings and 0.34 dismissals per game.
