Harry Kane broke Gary Lineker’s record for most goals for England in FIFA World Cups after he scored against Panama at the New York/New Jersey Stadium on Saturday.
Kane, 32, now has 11 goals in 14 World Cup matches, while Lineker scored 10 in 12 outings across 1986 and 1990.
Kane bagged the World Cup golden boot in 2018 with six goals, but managed just two in 2022, where England exited in the quarterfinals.
World Cup winner Geoff Hurst, who scored four in the 1966 edition, is third on the list with five goals.
