Double Olympic medallist and former world champion Neeraj Chopra will make his 2026 season debut at the Doha Diamond League on June 19 after recovering from a back injury. The Indian returns to the venue where he broke the 90-metre barrier for the first time last year with a 90.23m throw, only to finish second behind Germany’s Julian Weber. Neeraj will look to open his campaign on a strong note against a quality field led by Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Tharanga, who recently threw a world-leading 92.62m.

Neeraj’s event at the Doha Diamond League will begin at 11:14 PM IST on June 19 (8:44 PM local time, June 19)

In India, the event will be streamed live on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube channel.

In the UK, coverage will be available on BBC iPlayer and the Red Button.

FloTrack holds the rights in the U.S., while SuperSport will broadcast the event across most of Africa.
