France will begin its FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign against Senegal in a Group I match on Tuesday, June 16.
The match will be played at the New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, which is also scheduled to host the final of the tournament.
According to the forecast for East Rutherford, conditions around kickoff are expected to be sunny to mostly sunny, with the temperature likely to be around 24 to 25 degrees Celsius.
There is little chance of rain around kickoff, with the weather expected to remain clear for the Group I fixture.
Rain is not expected to affect the France vs Senegal match in East Rutherford.
