Roundglass Hockey Academy Storms Into International Youth Hockey Cup Final in Sydney
Roundglass Hockey Academy advanced to the final of the International Youth Hockey Cup 2026 (U-18) in Sydney, Australia, after an unbeaten group-stage run.
Led by coach Vikas Pal and team manager Sanjeev Kumar, the academy side won all five matches, combining attacking fluency with defensive control against international opposition.
Roundglass opened its campaign with an 8-0 win over New South Wales Lions before beating Team Majulah Singapore 5-0. It then defeated NSW Singhs 5-2 in a tighter contest.
The side continued its strong run with a 6-1 win over Bobby Academy before rounding off the group stage with a 7-1 victory against Shepparton Hockey Academy.
Roundglass finished the group stage on top with a perfect record, scoring 31 goals and conceding just four. NSW Singhs finished second with 10 points after winning three of its five matches, drawing one and losing one. Bobby Academy took third place with nine points.
Roundglass will face NSW Singhs in the final on Saturday in Sydney.
The academy is now one win away from another international title, having won the Sikh Union Club Nairobi Centenary Celebrations Hockey Tournament in Kenya earlier this year.
