Bosnia and Herzegovina became the 12th team to quallify for Round of 32 of the FIFA World Cup on Wednesday.
This is Bosnia’s first-ever qualification into the knockout stage of the tournament.
Bosnia’s slot was confirmed at the end of the Group C results, where Scotland was beaten 0-3 to finish with three points. It means only seven other third-placed teams can finish with four points or more, securing Bosnia’s berth in the knockouts.
Sergej Barbarez’e men finished their group proceedings with four points after a 3-1 win over Qatar earlier in the day.
The 2026 edition is Bosnia’s second-ever appearance in the World Cup.
