Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Jofra Archer took three wickets against Mumbai Indians on Sunday to move to third in the IPL 2026 Purple Cap Leaderboard.
Archer now has 21 wickets from 14 matches at an average of 21.71 and economy rate of 8.76.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar continues the lead the charts with 24 wickets from 14 matches, followed by Gujarat Titans pacer Kagiso Rabada, who has also taken the the same number of wickets from as many games.
Chennai Super Kings’ Anshul Kamboj is fourth with 21 scalps from 14 matches, while GT’s Rashid Khan is fifth with 19 wickets from 14 matches.
Except Kamboj, whose team has been knocked out of the competition, the rest of the bowlers in the top five will get atleast one more chance to improve their tally before the end of the season.
