Delhi Capitals beat the Rajasthan Royals by five wickets to keep up its slender chances of making the IPL Playoffs.
KL Rahul and Abishek Porel scored fifties to set the tone in the chase after Mitchell Starc’s four-fer helped restrict the Royals to just 193 after a rapid start.

KL Rahul: 6 - KL Rahul scored another crucial fifty at the top of the order, but this time a much more sedate one in comparison to his other knocks this season. He did, however, get out at the wrong time, bringing RR back into the game. (56, 42b, one four, three sixes)
Abishek Porel: 7 - Abishek got the Capitals off to the perfect start with some smart strokeplay with a focus through the region behind square on the offside. His fourth IPL fifty laid the perfect platform for the chase. (51, 31b, seven fours, one six)
Sahil Parakh: 3.5 - It was a short stay at the crease for Parakh, who was dismissed for nine. (9, eight balls)
Tristan Stubbs: 3.5 - The South African batter could not take his side home after a stutter through the middle overs. He holed out to Archer for just four. (4, six balls)
David Miller: 4.5 - The experienced South African started with a bang but couldn’t take his side home in the chase, falling for a rapid nine. (9, six balls, one six)
Axar Patel: 6.5 - The DC skipper brought himself on with two right-hand batters at the crease but could not create any trouble for the batters. He did however complete a good catch in the deep to dismiss Parag (0/31 in 4 overs). His 18-ball 34 was crucial in DC getting over the line at the end. (34, 18b, 2 fours, 2 sixes)
Ashutosh Sharma: 6 - The Capitals’ designated finisher came in at the end to smoke two sixes in the final over to seal the deal for the side. (18, 5b, one four, two sixes)
Madhav Tiwari: 7 - The Madhya Pradesh youngster displayed his skills yet again, picking two wickets while conceding just 27 in four overs (2/27 in 4 overs).
Mitchell Starc: 7.5 - After an expensive first over, Starc roared back with three wickets in his third over, which tilted the innings back in DC’s favour (4/40 in 4 overs).
Mukesh Kumar: 2 - An off night for the Indian pacer, who conceded 40 runs in the two overs he bowled (0/40 in 2 overs).
Lungi Ngidi: 8 - Ngidi finished the innings with two crucial wickets — Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel. He went for just 24 in his four overs (2/24 in 4 overs).
Tripurana Vijay: 2 - It was a tough initiation into the IPL for the young off-spinner, who conceded 29 runs in his two overs (0/29 in 2 overs).
RAJASTHAN ROYALS
Yashasvi Jaiswal: 3 — Hit Mitchell Starc for a flurry of early boundaries before slicing a Lungi Ngidi delivery to short third (12 off 9 balls; three fours).
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi: 7 — Got the team off to a characteristically breezy start before holing out after the PowerPlay (46 off 21 balls; five fours, three sixes).

Dasun Shanaka: 4.5 - RR’s gamble to bring in the Sri Lankan all-rounder did not go to plan as he was dismissed for just 10 off eight balls (10 off 8 balls; one six). He also picked the crucial wicket of KL Rahul to maintain RR’s chance for a win. (1/29 in three overs)
Jofra Archer: 6 - Could not provide a impact with the new ball but came back to remove Parakh and Stubbs in his second spell. (2/35 in four overs)
Adam Milne: 4 - Proved to be very expensive in the Powerplay in his first match this season. Conceded two sixes in the final over to Ashutosh. (0/41 in 3.2 overs)
Brijesh Sharma: 6 - Brijesh took the key wicket of Miller at the back end of the innings after his initial strike to remove Porel but his team was already in a precarious position by then. (2/44 in four overs)
