Real Madrid has handed massive fines on players Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni after both were involved in a bust-up during the training, the La Liga team said on Friday.
“Given these circumstances, Real Madrid has decided to impose a financial penalty of five hundred thousand euros on each player, thus concluding the corresponding internal procedures,” it said in a release.
A day earlier, the Los Blacos had said that they would punish the midfielders after a clash at the club’s training ground left Valverde needing hospital treatment.
