Germany will be looking to break its recent hoodoo at the FIFA World Cup, and it will be keen to make a positive start with victory over Curacao in Houston on June 14.
The four-time champion has not managed to progress from the group stage in the last two editions.
Curacao, the smallest team at the FIFA World Cup 2026, will be a firm underdog in the match as it makes its World Cup debut on Sunday.
This is the first time Germany and Curacao are playing each other.
