Royal Challengers Bengaluru wicket-keeper Jitesh Sharma will captain his side today in its match against Punjab Kings in Dharamsala in the absence of Rajat Patidar.
Jitesh said that the team expects Patidar to return to action in time for RCB’s next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Jitesh has prior captaincy experience, having led RCB in a couple of games last year in Patidar’s absence and once for his former team Punjab Kings in 2024.
