Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni named the 26-man squad for the defending champion ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, starting on June 11 in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Skipper and star attacker Lionel Messi, who felt his left hamstring while playing for Inter Miami last week, has been named in the squad.
Messi, 38, played a key role in Argentina winning the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, when he scored seven goals and assisted thrice.
Argentina will begin its build-up with two friendlies against Honduras (June 6) and Iceland (June 9) before it moves to its base camp in Kansas City.
La Albiceste are in Group J and will begin its campaign against Algeria on June 16 before it takes on Austria and Jordan.
