Scotland has named its squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 starting on June 11 in USA, Canada, and Mexico.
It has been drawn in Group C, alongside Brazil, Haiti, and Morocco, and will start its campaign against Haiti in Massachusetts on June 14.

Led by coach Steve Clarke, the squad will be captained by Liverpool defender Andy Robertson, and features prominent names, including Napoli’s 2024/25 Serie A footballer of the year Scott McTominay and Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn.
This will be the ninth World Cup appearance for Scotland as it looks to go past the group stage for the first time.
Scotland qualified for the World Cup by topping Group C in the UEFA Qualifiers, marking its first appearance in the tournament since 1998.
Clarke’s side will face Curacao in a friendly at Glasgow’s Hampden Park on May 30 before playing its final warm-up game against Bolivia in New Jersey on June 6.

Midfielders: Ryan Christie, Findlay Curtis, Lewis Ferguson, Ben Gannon-Doak, Billy Gilmour, John McGinn, Kenny McLean, Scott McTominay.
Forwards: Ché Adams, Lyndon Dykes, George Hirst, Lawrence Shankland, Ross Stewart.
