However the lead lasted just 11 minutes as Vinicius Jr combined with Raphinha before producing a curling shot which rattled the net.
The second half saw the game become more physical but neither nation was able to find a winner.
Brazil will next face Haiti on June 20, while Morocco will take on Scotland on the same day.
