Nigeria will look to build its morale from scratch after missing out on yet another FIFA World Cup as it plays Poland and Portugal in the June international window.
The Super Falcons had a disappointing qualification campaign for the 2026 World Cup, and failed to secure a spot in the tournament after losing to Democratic Republic of Congo on penalties in the final match of the CAF play-offs.
Nigeria last played in the World Cup in 2018. In the June window, it will face Poland, which also missed out on a World Cup spot, after losing to Sweden in the qualifying knockouts.
On the other hand, Portugal will look to finish its preparations for the quadrennial showpiece with the friendly against Nigeria. The side, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, will play Chile on June 6 and Nigeria four days later to square of its warm-up.
