Cristiano Ronaldo became the joint-highest goalscorer for Portugal in the World Cup after scoring in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Group K match against Uzbekistan on Tuesday.
The sixth-minute strike was Ronaldo’s ninth for his country in the quadrennial event, putting him level with Portuguese legend Eusebio who scored nine.
