France and Senegal will be facing off for just the second time in a competitive fixture when they meet at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Tuesday.
Their first meeting came 24 years back during the 2002 World Cup in South Korea. Senegal, playing its maiden World Cup, had upset Roger Lemerre’s side which was the defending champion.
They have faced each other twice in friendlies as well with both teams winning a game apiece.
