Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Virat Kohli brought up his fastest IPL half-century against Gujarat Titans in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Kohli took 25 deliveries to reach the 50-run mark, which is the fewest number deliveries he has taken in his career to reach an IPL fifty.
This is his second fifty in an IPL final, after scoring a half-century against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.
The 37-year-old’s previous joint-fastest fifty was off 26 balls against Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils in 2018.
