The State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) of Andhra Pradesh has pegged the annual credit plan for the year 2026-27 at ₹8.10 lakh crore.

Under the Annual Credit Plan, banks proposed disbursement of loans worth ₹8.10 lakh crore across various sectors during the current financial year. Of this, ₹5.40 lakh crore has been earmarked for priority sectors, including agriculture, while ₹2.70 lakh crore has been allocated to other sectors.

The plan includes ₹3.60 lakh crore for the agriculture sector, including ₹2 lakh crore towards crop loans. IT was also proposed to extend financial assistance of ₹10,693 crore for agricultural mechanisation.

The MSME sector has been allocated ₹1.55 lakh crore, including ₹70,000 crore for micro-enterprises. Housing loans worth ₹11,500 crore and education loans worth ₹2,500 crore have also been planned.

Addressing the bankers after formally releasing the credit plan in Amaravati on Friday, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said asked banks to encourage MSMEs through liberal credit flow.

Auto-pilot mode

The Union Government was also advocating an auto-pilot mode for loan approvals, he said adding that the through the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub, the state government was also promoting startups and innovation.

He proposed the formation of a committee comprising bankers and officials to monitor credit disbursement and NPAs. He also emphasised full utilisation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes and highlighted the Government’s ambition to create a large number of entrepreneurs through the “One Family, One Entrepreneur” initiative, according to a release.
