Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Wednesday met senior tech leaders, including Nasscom President Rajesh Nambiar. 

According to a statement from Nascom, the conversation focused on strengthening industry-government collaboration to accelerate Tamil Nadu’s technology ecosystem 

The deliberations also included matters such as building a deeper pipeline of industry-ready digital talent, advancing AI readiness across sectors and enabling wider adoption of emerging technologies

The industry body added that it looks forward to continuing its collaboration with the Government of Tamil Nadu to support the state’s technology and innovation ambitions.

Separately, leaders from IT major Cognizant, which has a large presence in Chennai, also met the TVK president and TN CM on Wednesday. The delegation included Rajesh Varrier, President, Operations and CMD of Cognizant India.
