Many industrialists and industry association representatives met with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay CM on Monday as they handed over some of their key priorities and ambitions for the state’s ’ economic development.
Senior executives from the French automaker Renault Group including Stephane Deblaise, the CEO of Renault Group in India held deliberations regarding the manufacturing and engineering operations of the company currently in Chennai. “The CM assured that the State Government will extend its full support to the company’s growth initiatives and he encouraged the Renault Group to continue making investments within the state,” an official statement said.
Recommendation List
A delegation from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) headed by GSK Velu, Chairman of the FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council, discussed measures to accelerate industrial growth and investment within the state.
Further, Ramkumar Shankar, President of The Madras Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) along with his team, also met the CM and presented a detailed set of recommendations and policy suggestions prepared by the commerce body.
“The meeting featured wide-ranging discussions on Tamil Nadu’s long-term economic vision, with a focus on strengthening critical infrastructure, enhancing investment opportunities, improving the ease of doing business, and further building “Brand Tamil Nadu” as a leading global destination for investment, innovation, and industrial growth,” the MCCI said.
Ramco Group’s PR Venkatarama Raja was also among the executives who meon the CM.
