Chalet Hotels has acquired Inder Residency Resort & Spa in Udaipur for ₹171 crore, making a foray into Rajasthan.
The K Raheja Corp owned company owns eleven hotels across the country and the acquisition is a part of its strategy to expand in high growth leisure markets with a focus on premium positioning. Inder Residency Resort has 144 rooms spread over 8.2 acres and the property will be upgraded to upper upscale premium lifestyle destination.
“This investment reflects our continued focus on expanding in high-growth leisure destinations with strong long-term potential. This property is well located and offers significant headroom for value creation through refurbishment, repositioning and expansion,” said Shwetank Singh, managing director and CEO, Chalet Hotels.
