Even as Al tools become more advanced and widely used at work, new research from professional network LinkedIn shows that 83 per cent of Indian professionals believe intuition and trusted peers — namely human judgment — still outweigh Al when making decisions. This despite 76 per cent saying the pace of decision-making at work has accelerated, and 72 per cent believing Al is essential for their next career move. However, 67 per cent say they are concerned at how quickly they’re expected to “get” AI. Learning new AI skills now feels like a second job for 75 per cent of Indian professionals.

Cultural drivers at GCCs

Deloitte’s India GCC Culture Sensing Report analyses cultural drivers across five major industries: financial services; consumer; energy, resources and industrials; life sciences and healthcare; and technology, media and communication. It covers 100 Indian global capability centres (GCCs) from the Fortune 500 Index. The idea behind the report is that culture stands as a critical enabler of sustainable success. Overall, it found that Indian GCC organisations are showcasing a high culture score, primarily contributed by factors such as an emphasis on inclusive and ethical culture, and learning opportunities.
