RBI holds rates steady amid global inflation, growth concerns

Reserve Bank of India has kept the repo rate unchanged at 5.25% and maintained a neutral stance, citing uncertainty from the West Asia conflict. The rate-setting panel unanimously chose to pause as rising crude prices threaten higher inflation and slower growth. IIndia reduces landing and parking charges by 25% for domestic flights

Indian govt hikes fertilizer subsidy for kharif season by up to 21% worth ₹4,317 cr

The Union Cabinet has approved ₹41,533 crore in nutrient-based subsidies for Kharif 2026, increasing support for nitrogen, phosphorous and sulphur while keeping potash unchanged, to ensure affordable fertilisers for farmers.
