






















AMFI has released its latest stock classification based on average market capitalisation over the past six months. Mutual funds are required to realign their portfolios in line with this regulatory framework. Under the classification, large-cap stocks comprise the top 100 companies by full market capitalisation, mid-caps include those ranked 101 to 250, and small-caps cover companies ranked 251 and beyond. The current classification, based on data for the six months ended December 2025, will be effective from February 2026 through July 2026.
