The two-day 11th Global Pharmaceutical Quality Summit, organised by the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, kicks off today in Mumbai. The industry conclave will be attended by drug regulatory representatives from multiple countries. There will be sessions on new technologies, artificial intelligence and cross-industry insights.
The meet comes at a time when US tariffs continue to cast a shadow of uncertainty over exports, and quality issues continue to be on top of mind for Indian drugmakers. The meet will wrap up with an annual CEO panel, where the heads of top Indian drugmakers, including Lupin, Sun Pharma, Zydus and Aurobindo, interact with industry colleagues.
