Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, popularly known as Milma, has registered 6.44 per cent growth in its annual turnover at ₹4,624.21 crore in FY26 compared with ₹4,344.60 crore in the previous fiscal.

In daily milk procurement, Milma registered 12.89 per cent growth, while in sale of milk it posted 4.30 per cent growth in 2025-26. The total per day milk procurement stood at 12,56,892 litres and total sale of milk per day pegged at 17,06,350 litres during this period.

In 2024-25, the daily procurement of milk and its daily sales were 11,13,413 litres and 16,36,047 litres, respectively.

Milma’s value-added product sales turnover stood at ₹1,097.36 crore in 2025-26 with an annual growth of 15.94 per cent as compared to the previous year’s figures of ₹946.47 crore.

The Trivandrum Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (TRCMPU) of Milma achieved 6.87 per cent in turnover compared to 2024-25. The growth turnover rate of the Malabar Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (MRCMPU) stood at 8.88 per cent whereas the Ernakulam Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (ERCMPU) recorded 5.91 per cent growth.

Milma Chairman KS Mani said the company is implementing many of its activities with the aim of achieving the turnover of ₹10,000 crore by 2030.

“In 2025-26, Milma has recorded significant progress through farmer-centric welfare schemes, production and quality improvement activities. Despite the rising production cost in dairy sector, various challenges and competitions, Milma’s achievement was buttressed by the dairy farmers,” he said.

The dairy sector is aiming to achieve an inclusive and sustainable growth in the State. Last year, Milma provided 92.5 per cent of its profit to farmers, he added.
