打开vs2005提供安装sql2005的aspnet_Users表,我们会看到MobileAlias 字段(现在增加User后该字段都是null),其他字段意思还是比较容易了解,但是MobileAlias 是什么意思呢,开始我以为只是一个user的别名,就像偶们不是常常有网名一样.可是还是觉得不对劲.后来找到了这个回复,总算是明白了:这个字段现在是没用的,是微软为了以后而预留的,我们现在可以忽略它.
原意是:移动电话的pin码,是为了移动用户更容易登录而设计的.

The MobileAlias (and MobilePin too I believe) is something I designed into the Membership database while I was still at Microsoft. The feature itself (mobile login -- e.g., r56 vs rhoward and mobile pin for password) was designed to enable easy sign-on for mobile users. the feature got cut VERY early on, but we decided to leave the db columns in there for future use.
