A1 Ltd, a leading logistics and industrial chemicals company, plans to add 10 multi-axle tankers to its existing fleet and take the total company-owned fleet to 71 vehicles.
With this expansion, the company targets to cater the rising customer demand and ensure timely deliveries across markets. The enhanced fleet size is expected to reduce dependency on third-party transporters, improve turnaround times and optimise logistics costs.
The company remains on track to fully repay all outstanding vehicle-related liabilities by October, transitioning to a 100 per cent company owned and debt-free fleet. Currently, 90 per cent of the company’s feet are debt-free.
A debt-free fleet not only reduces finance costs but also strengthens operational efficiency and long-term profitability. The reinforces A1 Ltd’s strong balance sheet and enhances financial flexibility, positioning the company for sustainable growth while improving return ratios, it said.
Harshadkumar Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, A1 Ltd said achieving a near debt-free fleet reflects the company’s disciplined financial approach with the addition of new tankers and continued investment in logistics infrastructure will further strengthening service capabilities.
The fully owned fleet will enhance operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and drive sustainable growth in the coming years, he said.
