ensex Today, Nifty 50 | Stock Market Highlights: Equity benchmarks fell on Friday, posting a monthly drop as uncertainty over a U.S.-Iran peace deal prompted investors to lock in gains after the previous month’s strong rally.
Losses swelled in the last half an hour’s trade on Friday as index provider MSCI’s May index rejig came into effect. The 50-stock index had plunged 11.3% in March before rebounding 7.5% in April.
Brent Crude futures fell 19% in May, but remain 27.3% above the levels seen before the Iran war. India is the world’s third biggest crude importer. Elevated oil prices and a lack of AI trade have kept the Indian market out of favour among foreign investors, analysts said.
Ten of the 16 major sectors logged monthly losses. Broader markets outperformed, with the small-cap and mid-cap indexes rising 0.7% and 3.2%, respectively, on earnings optimism.
Top Gainers: Adani Enterprises surged 22%, after the U.S. dropped fraud charges against Gautam Adani. Hindalco and National Aluminium gained 8.6% and 6.3% as steady domestic demand, pricing comfort and global supply worries linked to the Iran war lifted metal prices.
Top Losers: Heavyweight financials and IT stocks lost 1.2% and 0.9%, while Reliance Industries shed 7.7%. ONGC fell 11.4% on profit booking after a 25% rise over the previous four months, and on concerns over production delays at key projects. ITC declined 8.9% as analysts flagged that recent price hikes will likely weigh on cigarette volumes in June.
At the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee opened at 95.77 against the US dollar, then touched an intraday high of 94.97 and a low of 95.78 during the day. At the end of Friday’s trading session, the rupee was quoted at 95.05 (provisional), up 53 paise from its previous close.

Motilal Oswal Private Wealth Stays Neutral on Indian Equities
Motilal Oswal Private Wealth’s latest Alpha Strategist May 2026 report, titled “Down, But Not Out”, highlights that while Indian capital markets have underperformed several global peers in the near term, the broader domestic macroeconomic backdrop remains resilient. In the current environment, small and mid-caps (SMIDs) have demonstrated relative resilience, outperforming large caps by a significant margin since the beginning of the Middle East conflict.
Citing India’s macroeconomic resilience and strong fundamentals, Motilal Oswal Private Wealth retains its neutral stance on Indian Equities with a relative overweight stance on the mid and small cap segment. The suggested portfolio allocation may be approximately 50% hybrid/large caps, 40% SMIDs, and 10% global exposure. The firm recommends lump sum deployment in hybrid strategies and a staggered approach for pure equity-oriented strategies.
Within fixed income, Motilal Oswal Private Wealth believes interest rates are likely to remain elevated for longer, with the RBI signalling a pause in the rate-cut cycle and global inflation risks resurfacing amid elevated oil prices, currency volatility, and geopolitical uncertainty. The firm continues to suggest cash-flow focused accrual strategies across the credit spectrum, while cautioning that any renewed pressure on crude prices or rupee may push bond yields higher again.
Further, it maintains a neutral allocation stance on precious metals – gold and silver – with more weight towards gold, supported by continued central bank buying and easing speculative excess in global gold markets.

Expert View | Vikram Subburaj, CEO, Giottus.com
Bitcoin traded near the $73,000-$74,000 range on May 29 as the market remained in consolidation mode. Buyers were unable to push prices above key resistance levels seen earlier this month. The immediate support zone is between $72,000 and $73,000. On the upside, Bitcoin faces resistance around the $75,000 mark, which remains the key level traders are watching in the near term. If Bitcoin moves above $75,000, it could signal renewed buying strength. The next major level to watch is between $78,000 and $80,000. Bitcoin has struggled to move past this range several times in recent months, making it an important resistance zone.
Institutional positioning remains the dominant market driver. Spot Bitcoin ETF flows have moderated compared to the strong inflows seen earlier in the quarter. While broad-based liquidation has not emerged, investors are closely monitoring ETF demand as a gauge of institutional appetite.BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF continues to attract strong investor demand. A large portion of recent ETF inflows has gone into BlackRock’s fund. These inflows have helped absorb selling pressure and provided support to Bitcoin during periods of market weakness.
On-chain indicators suggest that the broader market structure remains intact despite the ongoing consolidation. Long-term Bitcoin holders are still holding strong profits. Most investors who bought Bitcoin earlier remain in profit, and current market data does not show signs that are usually seen during a bear market. However, network activity has yet to return to the elevated participation levels witnessed during previous cycle peaks. This indicates that retail involvement remains relatively subdued.
Macro developments remain the primary risk factor. Markets are increasingly focused on the Federal Reserve’s policy outlook after recent inflation readings signalled that price pressures remain sticky. Expectations for aggressive rate cuts have been pushed back, resulting in higher Treasury yields and a stronger dollar environment. Upcoming US jobs and inflation data will be important for the market. These reports could affect the Federal Reserve’s future interest rate decisions.
The altcoin market continues to trail Bitcoin. Bitcoin dominance remains above 60%, showing that investors still prefer the relative safety of the largest cryptocurrency. Ethereum is trading near the $2,000 mark, while Solana remains below the $100 level despite strong ecosystem activity. BNB has held up better than many major altcoins and continues to show resilience during market volatility. XRP remains stable above the $1.30 region, supported by institutional interest. TRON has been one of the stronger performers among large-cap cryptocurrencies. This indicates that the market remains in a consolidation phase rather than a full altcoin rally.
Our advice: Investors should remain selective rather than chasing every market rally. Bitcoin continues to hold above the important $72,000-$73,000 support zone, but a sustained move above $75,000 is needed before the market can target the broader $78,000-$80,000 resistance area. Bitcoin dominance remains above 60%, indicating that capital is still favouring large-cap assets over speculative altcoins. Until ETF inflows strengthen further and US macroeconomic data supports a more dovish Federal Reserve outlook, investors may be better served focusing on fundamentally strong assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and BNB while maintaining disciplined risk management and avoiding excessive leverage

Quote: Manav Modi Commodities Analyst Motilal Oswal Financial services Ltd
Gold ended the session higher as easing U.S. Treasury yields and renewed hopes of a potential U.S.-Iran agreement supported bullion, although the market remained highly volatile amid fresh military escalations in the Middle East. Earlier in the session, gold was under pressure after renewed clashes between Washington and Tehran reignited fears of energy-driven inflation. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for strikes on a U.S. airbase in Kuwait in retaliation for American attacks on Bandar Abbas, while Kuwait confirmed missile and drone interceptions without naming the source.
The attacks marked another escalation despite repeated assertions from the U.S. that a ceasefire remained intact. Sentiment later improved after reports suggested the U.S. naval blockade on Iran could eventually be lifted as part of a broader peace framework, although President Donald Trump stated he was still not fully satisfied with the proposed agreement. On the data front, U.S. inflation readings remained elevated, with headline PCE rising 3.8% year-on-year in April and core PCE coming in at 3.3%, reinforcing concerns that the Federal Reserve may maintain a hawkish stance. Meanwhile, durable goods orders surprised positively at 7.9%, while GDP growth slowed to 1.6%, indicating a mixed economic backdrop.

Expert View | Market Commentary | Avinash Shekhar, Co-Founder & CEO, Pi42
“Bitcoin is trading below the $74,000 level as broader market sentiment remains cautious despite renewed discussions around a potential U.S.–Iran deal and continued pro-crypto messaging from the Trump administration. The muted reaction suggests that macro uncertainty and ongoing distribution activity are currently outweighing positive headlines in the near term.
At the same time, market data indicates that Bitcoin has entered a cooling phase after the recent rally, with rising active distribution signalling increased profit booking and weaker short-term momentum. Price action has also come under pressure after key support levels failed to hold, contributing to the recent decline toward the low-$70,000 range.
What is becoming increasingly evident in the current cycle is that capital is not necessarily exiting the crypto market entirely, but rotating more selectively amid heightened uncertainty. Market participants are increasingly reallocating toward assets and narratives showing relative strength, with tokens such as HYPE, Stellar, and NEAR continuing to attract attention even as Bitcoin consolidates. This behaviour is typically seen in more mature market phases, where investors actively rebalance exposure rather than fully exiting. It also reflects how crypto market is evolving beyond broad momentum driven rallies into a more narrative and liquidity-driven environment.
In the near term, Bitcoin’s direction is likely to remain closely tied to macro sentiment, geopolitical developments, and liquidity expectations. However, the ongoing rotation across sectors suggests that investor appetite within crypto market has not disappeared, but is becoming increasingly selective, diversified, and conviction driven.”

Analyst View | Kotak Securities Research
ONGC (Reco: Buy, FV: Rs. 385) - Weak 4Q; TSP to BP for entire Western Offshore a positive
ONGC’s 4Q was weak with revenue 6.1% below KIE and EBITDA down 6.5% (~14% below KIE), driven by weaker volumes and one-offs. Oil/gas sales declined 5%/3% yoy (flat for FY2026), impacted by KG-98/2 delays and West Asia war. Positively, in year one of the BP TSP, MH production exceeded baseline by 2% for oil and 9% for gas despite limited capex, with likely sharper gains as new facilities come up. ONGC has now expanded TSP with BP to the full Western Offshore (69% of ONGC’s output), and expects 3-4% CAGR growth by 2030 (versus ~2% earlier declines despite IOR/EOR). Maintain BUY with FV Rs385.
GMR Airports (Reco: Buy, FV: Rs. 110) - A breather ahead before a strong comeback in FY2028
GMR Airports reported a strong 47% yoy growth in EBITDA with a modest 4% miss linked more to volatile line items—top-three assets EBITDA was a modest beat. Net debt has flattened over the past six months. A weak start to FY2027 on pax count will take out the benefits of strengthening non-aero per pax spends. Good progress was registered on self-development projects and increasing visibility of a strong uptick in FY2028 EBITDA from real estate monetization. We cut estimates by 0-6% and revise FV to Rs110 (Rs112 earlier). Key imponderables include (1) impact of commissioning of new terminal space for international in Delhi airport, (2) potential entry in new services for airports beyond the current portfolio and (3) end-game of regulatory outcomes.
Ashok Leyland (Reco: Reduce, FV: Rs. 170) - In-line quarter; tough road ahead
AL reported 4QFY26 EBITDA of Rs20.7 bn, in line with our estimates as better- than-expected gross margin print was offset by higher staff and other expenses. Given recent diesel price increase amid ongoing geopolitical tensions, we expect the CV cycle growth to moderate and outlook to be cautious; we expect volume growth to moderate as fleet operators’ profitability will get negatively impacted. Additionally, we expect profitability to decline in FY2027E due to RM headwinds and lack of operating leverage. Retain REDUCE with a revised FV of Rs170 (Rs190 earlier).
Vinati Organics (Reco: Sell, FV: Rs. 1200) - Growth remains a struggle
Vinati Organics (VOL) revealed on its 4QFY26 earnings call that declines in revenues from IBB and ATBS were the key reason for the company’s 1% revenue drop in FY2026. Management continues to guide to 15% volume growth in FY2027, but the VOPL projects continue to struggle, while market conditions and competition remain risks. We cut EPS by a further 9-10% and retain SELL with a revised FV of Rs1,200 (down from Rs1,260).
Varroc Engineering (Reco: Reduce, FV: Rs. 550) - Another weak quarter
Varroc Engineering’s 4QFY26 EBITDA of Rs2.2 bn was 6% below our estimates owing to a weak revenue print. The company continues to grow the EV orderbook; we believe revenues will grow marginally ahead of industry growth owing to increased competitive intensity in key segments. We expect the company’s margins recovery to remain below expectations owing to increased competitive intensity, especially in the EV segment and the B2B nature of the business. Additionally, the overseas business should see gradual recovery led by new order wins across segments. Retain REDUCE with an FV of Rs550 (Rs590 earlier) based on 17X June 2028E consolidated EPS.
Siemens (Reco: Sell, FV: Rs. 2950) - Not as much localized; getting hit, finding it difficult to alter
SIEM’s segment profit declined 15% yoy against a similar revenue growth. Externalities are reflecting as vividly (maybe more) in case of peers on a low quantum base business margin, amplifying RM/FX overhang. SIEM shared difficulty in addressing the limited localization constraint that drives low quantum of base business margin. Analyst call suggests that the part of weakness in key metrics (order inflows, cash flows and margin) is driven by timing issues. That said, the result brings out the unpredictability in financials in times of market externalities, limiting case of rerating versus peers. We cut estimates by 7-9%, net of lower margin and higher DC estimates. Downgrade to SELL (from REDUCE) on expensive 79X/64X one/two-year forward EPS.
Mphasis - Mphasis investor day takeaways
We attended Mphasis investor day. Key takeaways are as follows—(1) management believes current AI trends will benefit Mphasis, (2) newly introduced Tria platform is capable of driving end-to-end modernization leveraging AI, (3) the business model will shift to platform + people model focusing on outcomes and (4) large deals team has helped Mphasis take better advantage of AI-led disruption. Retain REDUCE with an FV of Rs2,275.
ESG - Varun Beverages: CY2025 Annual Report analysis
Varun Beverages’ CY2025 Annual Report highlights (1) a 16.8% yoy increase in PBT to Rs40.1 bn, supported by government grants of Rs7.8 bn, one‑off items of Rs0.3 bn and forex gains of Rs2.3 bn; (2) forex gains are primarily driven by intercompany USD-denominated loans extended by VBL to its subsidiaries; (3) PepsiCo franchisee rights treated as having an indefinite life, amortization over life would lead to PBT for CY2025 being lower by 1.0%; (4) a decline in RoE to 16.9% on lower asset turns and a larger equity base post- QIP; and (5) FCF post interest turning positive at Rs5.2 bn, amid lower finance costs and a moderation in capex.
Real Estate (Sector View: Attractive) - Listed plays continue to grow, while industry remains subdued
Real estate sales for coverage companies in 4QFY26 grew 16% yoy, led by DLF and Oberoi, taking FY2026 pre-sales to Rs1.37 tn (+17% yoy)—modestly short of the 20% growth guidance. In contrast, industry sales grew by 5% yoy in FY2026, led by pricing growth of 8% yoy, even as volumes declined 3% yoy. Industry volumes have remained rangebound for three years in a row, while larger developers continue to grow through a combination of improving market share (15%, +150 bps yoy) and expansion to new geographies. Coverage players are targeting pre-sales of Rs1.6 tn (+17% yoy) for FY2027E on the back of launches worth Rs2 tn, even as stocks continue to factor a weak outlook. Valuation comfort, low growth expectations and liquid balance sheets keep us constructive, while we remain watchful of the ongoing geopolitical tensions and their impact on domestic demand.
Telecommunication Services (Sector View: Attractive) - TRAI April 2026 data: Vi holds the fort
TRAI’s April 2026 subscriber data shows Vi continuing to report marginal subscriber gains for the third consecutive month. Bharti leads net subscriber additions, driven largely by the M2M segment. The VLR gap between leaders widened mom to 1.1% (0.6 mom), as Bharti’s VLR ratio reached a multi- quarter high of 99.7%. MBB net additions remained robust at 7.2 mn, while FWA (including UBR) net additions remained muted at ~0.4 mn, led by Bharti’s performance. MNP requests rose to 14.7 mn (14.6 mom).

Global growth to weaken amid West Asia conflict: WEF survey
According to a World Economic Forum (WEF) Chief Economists’ Outlook survey, nearly nine in ten economists expect global growth to weaken over the next year amid Middle East conflicts and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which is driving up energy and food prices and risking major supply chain disruptions. India stands out positively, with 52% of surveyed chief economists forecasting strong or very strong growth, making it the geography with the strongest growth prospects. India is seen as relatively resilient—along with the US—thanks to robust domestic demand, investment, infrastructure push, trade agreements (including with the EU), and policy support, even as it faces some risks like currency pressures. Only 13% anticipate a global recession.

Wipro's American Depositary Receipt surges 13%
Wipro’s American Depositary Receipt (ADR) surged over 13% (reaching around $2.33) in US trading on May 28, 2026, driven by strong investor optimism around the company’s expanding AI initiatives and partnerships. The rally was fueled by Wipro’s deepened alliance with ServiceNow to deploy agentic AI across key enterprise functions like IT, HR, procurement, and cybersecurity. This move aims to help large organizations scale AI from experimentation to real-world operations using Wipro’s Intelligence platform. Positive sentiment was further boosted by an improved outlook for technology spending in the US market.

Govt to announce measures to boost capital inflows
The Indian government is expected to announce several measures within a week to boost foreign capital inflows and stem outflows. Key proposals under discussion include reducing the Long-Term Capital Gains (LTCG) tax on listed equities and bonds, and lowering the 20% withholding tax on interest from government securities, which is currently among the highest globally. These steps aim to reverse heavy FPI outflows of $24.28 billion so far in 2026, arrest the decline in forex reserves (down ~$39.6 billion), and support the weakening rupee while helping finance the widening current account deficit. Additional measures like curbs on outward remittances and gold imports are also being considered.

Market View | Gaurav Udani, Founder - ThinCredBlu Securities
“Nifty is expected to open slightly lower around 23,800, down nearly 100 points, indicating a cautious start amid weak global cues.
The index continues to trade within a broader range, with sentiment remaining cautious near resistance zones. Technically, 23,600–23,700 remains an important support range, while 24,000–24,100 continues to act as immediate resistance.
The market is still searching for clear direction, and traders are likely to react strongly near these key levels.
After the recent holiday break, volatility may remain elevated as markets adjust to global developments and overnight cues.
The setup currently suggests a range-bound market with a slight negative bias. Traders should avoid aggressive positions at the open and focus on confirmation before initiating fresh trades.”

Rupee likely to contend with outflows even as US-Iran ceasefire reports give oil relief
The Indian rupee could find marginal breathing room on Friday on reports that the U.S. and Iran have agreed to extend a ceasefire, while traders will be wary of latching onto momentum as multiple reports in recent memory have led to no resolution.
Dollar outflows related to the global equity index adjustments, though, are likely to be a pressure point for the currency on the day, two traders said.
The rupee is expected to open in the 95.90-95.95 range, per traders, slightly weaker than its close at 95.69 on Wednesday. India’s financial markets were shut on Thursday for a local holiday. Oil futures fell on hopes for a potential deal to extend a U.S.-Iran ceasefire, although remarks from Vice President JD Vance that the nations were “close” to reaching a deal but “not there yet” kept a floor under prices.

World Stocks Hit Record High as Oil Prices Slide Sharply
World stocks stood at record highs on Friday and oil futures eyed the steepest weekly drop for nearly two months as traders waited for details on a potential deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and extend the U.S.-Iran ceasefire.
Moves in the Asia morning were modest, with S&P 500 futures steady after the index notched another record closing high overnight. Brent crude futures fell about 50 cents a barrel to $93.17 for a weekly drop of more than 10%.
The dollar headed for a small fall on the week, which tracks a retreat in U.S. yields.
MSCI’s index of world stocks edged up to a record high, with AI-euphoria lifting chipmaker shares around the world and pushing benchmarks in Tokyo and Seoul up around 2% on Friday morning and toward weekly rises.

No need to reduce GST on flex-fuel vehicles: Tata Motors MD
To promote flex-fuel vehicles, Tata Motors has said the government should make the fuel affordable (cheaper) rather than reducing the goods and services tax (GST) on such vehicles because price of the fuel directly impacts the customers.
“There is absolutely no need to reduce the GST on such vehicles...benefit has to go to consumers. A study has to be done by what level it can be reduced. That could be the threshold, otherwise people won’t get excited about flex-fuel vehicles (FFVs). If you make it cheaper that would become a base fuel and people will start buying FFVs,” Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, told businessline. Crude oil falls slightly on reports of potential US-Iran ceasefire deal
Oil futures fell slightly on hopes for a potential deal to extend a U.S.-Iran ceasefire, although remarks from Vice President JD Vance that the nations were “close” to reaching a deal but “not there yet” kept a floor under prices.
Brent crude futures for July, which expire on Friday’s settlement, was down 35 cents, or 0.37%, at $93.36 a barrel at 0105 GMT. U.S. oil futures fell 63 cents, or 0.71%, to $88.27 a barrel. Read more here

Dollar heads for weekly loss on reports of US-Iran ceasefire deal
The dollar extended its weakness against major currencies on Friday and was on track to end the week lower, after reports the U.S. and Iran reached an agreement to extend the ceasefire in the Middle East and lift restrictions on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
The deal, still pending Trump’s approval, would extend the truce for another 60 days and allow traffic to flow through the strategic waterway while negotiators tackle difficult issues such as Iran’s nuclear program, four sources told Reuters.
Oil prices fell and demand for the safe-haven dollar waned, although moves were tempered as investors remained cautious about a lasting resolution following mixed signals from both Washington and Tehran earlier in the week.
The euro fetched $1.1653, up 0.03% so far in Asia, while the pound traded flat at $1.3445.
The Australian dollar was steady at $0.7164 and the New Zealand dollar rose 0.2% to $0.5946, near the strongest level in more than two weeks.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of currencies, was largely flat at 98.997 after dropping 0.2% on Thursday. It is now on track to snap two weeks of gains and end the week 0.3% lower. - Reuters

Oil Set for Worst Month Since 2020 as US, Iran to Extend Truce
Oil edged lower after the US and Iran tentatively agreed to extend a ceasefire by 60 days, potentially allowing shipments through the Strait of Hormuz to resume.
Brent fell toward $93 a barrel, down by 18% this month, while West Texas Intermediate was near $88. President Donald Trump has yet to agree to the terms of the agreement, according to a person familiar with the matter, after Axios reported that shipping through the strait would be “unrestricted.”

What SEBI’s third-party payment proposal means for mutual fund investors
Your mutual fund investments currently have to be paid for from your own bank account. SEBI is now considering a relaxation to this rule. In a consultation paper issued on May 20, the regulator has proposed allowing third-party payments in specific situations, including investments made through salary deductions, commission paid to mutual fund distributors in units, and donations routed through mutual funds. The proposal is aimed at making genuine transactions easier while retaining checks against fraud and money laundering. For investors, the most relevant change may be the ability to invest through payroll, provided the final safeguards protect their interests. Read the full story here

MNCL Research - ESAB India: Q4FY26 and FY26 results first cut
CMP: Rs 6,950 | TP: Rs 7,860 (UR) | Rating: Buy (UR)
Q4FY26 Consolidated
Revenue: Rs 3,958mn; +7.6% YoY, +4.5% QoQ. 2.4% below our estimates
EBITDA: Rs 628mn; -4.5% YoY, -17.1% QoQ. 22.6% below our estimates mainly due to a 13 bps YoY fall in gross margin and a 29% increase in employee costs.
EBITDA margin: 15.9%; -202 bps YoY, -413 bps QoQ; 415 bps below our estimates. During the quarter, the company issued ESOPs to eligible employees excluding which the fall in EBITDA margin would have been 120 bps YoY and 330 bps QoQ.
PAT: Rs 592mn; -10.1% YoY, +12.5% QoQ. +4.8% vs our estimates due to gain from sale of land in Koolkata partially offset by labour code related charges.
FY26 Consolidated
Revenue: Rs 15,082mn; +9.8% YoY.
EBITDA: Rs 2,698mn; +10.3% YoY.
EBITDA margin: 17.9%; +9 bps YoY.
PAT: Rs 2,610mn; +6.3% YoY.
Our view: Q4FY26 topline growth was weaker than expected with higher employee costs impacting operating margins. Our channel checks indicate, the company has increased its product prices by 10-15% between Q4FY26 and Q1FY27 but volume growth may have been impacted due to lower infrastructure activity, state elections, and reduced manpower. We will revisit our estimates and rating on the stock shortly.

MNCL Research | Ecos Mobility – Q4FY26 First Cut | Miss across
CMP: - Rs 154; Rating- BUY (under revision)
Revenues: - The company reported a growth of 16.7% YoY to Rs 2,068mn (MNCL est – Rs 2,154mn). We believe the growth is largely on account of growth across ETS and CCR division.
Margins: - Gross margins for the quarter contracted by 176bps YoY (+43bps QoQ) to 26.7%, (MNCL est – 27%). While OPM for the quarter contracted by 325 bps YoY (+35bps QoQ) to 11.7% (MNCL est – 12.2%), largely on account of lower gross profit and higher employee costs (+176bps YoY).
EBITDA: - EBITDA for the quarter declined by 8.7% YoY (+3.4% QoQ) to Rs 242mn (MNCL est – Rs 263mn). This is due to lower gross profit and higher employee costs.
PAT: - PAT for the quarter declined by 12.9% YoY (+12.9% QoQ) to Rs 157mn (MNCL est – Rs 161mn).
View -The company’s performance during the quarter remained below our expectations, which we believe could have been partly impacted by the ongoing West Asia conflict and related disruptions. However, we continue to remain positive on the long-term outlook for Ecos Mobility, supported by the rising number of GCCs being established in India. Increasing corporate hiring, expansion of enterprise travel requirements, and growing preference for organized mobility solutions are expected to support sustained growth for the company over the medium term.

MNCL research | Ivalue infosolutions – Q4FY26 First Cut | Stable set
Mcap: Rs 13.2bn | CMP: Rs 240 | TP: Rs 330 - Under revision
~ The co. reported revenue of Rs 2.7bn for the Q4FY26, growth of 20.8%/4.6% QoQ/YoY. Below our ests. of Rs 3.3bn.
~EBITDA came at Rs 545mn registering a growth of 90.0%/15.4% QoQ/ YoY, came in-line with our estimate of Rs 550mn. EBITDA Margins stood at 20.0% above our estimate of 16.7%.
~PAT for Q4FY26 stood at Rs 428mn a growth of 173.0%/19.4% QoQ/YoY; above our estimate of Rs 388mn on account of higher other income.
Our view:
Ivalue reported a strong set of results for Q4FY26. Revenue growth came below our estimates, primarily due to lower number of large deal closures during the quarter. However, margins exceeded expectations, supported by higher ASPs and robust enterprise demand. Cash collections were strong, with CFO at Rs 1.0bn (Rs 0.4bn in FY25), leading to an improvement in net working capital to 30 days (vs. 43 days earlier). The cybersecurity segment continued to perform well, delivering a healthy 27.6% YoY growth. Annuity income remained steady at 42.2%.
