Indri wins Whisky’s World Award, Piccadily shares up 1.5%
2026-04-15 · via Latest Share Market News, Sensex, Nifty, BSE, NSE Today | The HinduBusinessLine

Shares of Piccadily Agro Industries Limited were trading higher on the NSE on Wednesday afternoon, with the stock up ₹8.60 or 1.54 per cent at ₹568.00 as of 12,05 PM.

The company announced a major international design award for its Indri Single Malt whisky. The stock opened at ₹572.40, touching a high of ₹576.40 in early trade, against a previous close of ₹559.40.

The rally follows a press release issued on April 14, 2026, announcing that the Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2025 had won the “Best Special Edition Design” award at the World Whiskies Awards 2026 — making it the first Indian brand to claim this title.

The award-winning packaging was conceived by designer Krsnaa Mehta, Founder of India Circus, drawing from India’s royal-era garden motifs, featuring elephants, ornate arches and traditional embellishments. The design competed against international whisky brands to secure the top spot in the World’s Best Design Category.

Launched in 2022, Indri Single Malt has earned over 40 accolades internationally, including recognition as ‘Best Indian Single Malt’ and ‘Best Whisky in The World.’ The whisky is produced in Indri, Haryana, using premium 6-row Indian barley sourced from Rajasthan.

Trading volumes stood at 0.77 lakh shares with a traded value of ₹4.38 crore at the time of reporting. Sell orders outweighed buy orders, with 63.93 per cent on the sell side against 36.07 per cent on the buy side.

The stock’s 52-week high stands at ₹805.50, recorded on September 22, 2025, while its 52-week low of ₹515.00 was hit as recently as March 30, 2026. Total market capitalisation stood at ₹5,599.24 crore.
