The certification is commercially significant for Servotech as government agencies, public sector undertakings, oil marketing companies, and fleet operators increasingly weigh energy efficiency

Updated - June 25, 2026 at 01:27 PM.

Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd announced that its 60 kW and 120 kW DC fast EV chargers have received the 5-star rating from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) under its EV Charger Star Labelling Programme.

The two certified models — ST-EVDC60KW and ST-EVDC120KW — recorded a weighted average energy efficiency of 97 per cent, placing them in the highest category under the programme.

The certification is commercially significant for Servotech as government agencies, public sector undertakings, oil marketing companies, and fleet operators increasingly weigh energy efficiency and lifecycle operating costs in procurement decisions. The 5-star rating positions the company's products favourably in these tender-driven segments.

Managing Director Raman Bhatia said the rating validates the company's focus on engineering and manufacturing investments, including component indigenisation, quality upgrades, and expanded production capacity.

Servotech, formerly known as Servotech Power Systems Ltd, manufactures DC chargers, solar inverters, battery energy storage systems, and lithium-ion battery packs.

On Thursday, the stock was trading at ₹99.91, up 1.32 per cent from the previous close of ₹98.61, with an intraday high of ₹101.79. The company's market capitalisation stood at approximately ₹2,244.68 crore. The stock carries an annualised volatility of 66.68 per cent and trades at a P/E of 72.30. It has delivered a year-to-date return of 26.88 per cent, though it remains down 33.48 per cent over the past year against a 52-week high of ₹154.48 touched on June 25, 2025.
