On the NSE, Zydus Wellness shares traded at ₹500, up 0.15% on Monday, against a 52-week range of ₹331–₹552.40

Zydus Wellness on Monday announced the expansion of its RiteBite Max Protein brand into three new formats — ready-to-drink protein shakes, ghee-jaggery protein bars and Korean-flavoured protein chips — as the Ahmedabad-based consumer wellness company deepens its bet on India’s protein market estimated at $10–12 billion and growing at a mid-teen CAGR.

The company entered the ready-to-drink dairy beverage segment with protein shakes in Choco Burst and Berry Blush variants, each delivering 26 grams of protein in a 250 ml format. On the snacking side, the newly launched Roots Ghee Jaggery Protein Bar combines traditional Indian ingredients with a whey-casein protein blend, offering 10 grams of protein and 4 grams of fibre. The company simultaneously introduced Korean Chips, a seven-grain snack range in Hot Chilli, Barbeque and Gochujang flavours, delivering equivalent protein and fibre values per 60-gram serving, with a gluten-free, no-palm-oil formulation.

RiteBite Max Protein posted near double-digit EBITDA margins in Q3 FY26, driven by distribution expansion and category momentum following its acquisition by Zydus Wellness.

CEO Tarun Arora said the expansion reflects a shift in how urban consumers engage with protein — away from gym-specific supplements toward convenient, everyday formats. “The real opportunity now lies in making protein a seamless part of daily life,” he said.

The new products will be available nationally across e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.

On the NSE, Zydus Wellness shares traded at ₹500, up 0.15 per cent on Monday, against a 52-week range of ₹331–₹552.40. The stock has returned approximately 41.77 per cent over the past year, outperforming the Nifty 500’s roughly 5.94 per cent return over the same period. Total market capitalisation stands at approximately ₹15,902 crore.
