Imagicaaworld to invest ₹100 crore in Gujarat water park ...
2026-05-18 · via Latest Share Market News, Sensex, Nifty, BSE, NSE Today | The HinduBusinessLine

Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited has approved an investment of up to ₹100 crore in Shanku’s Water Park in Mehsana, Gujarat, marking the company’s latest push to expand beyond its existing theme park portfolio into managed leisure assets across India.

The deal will be structured through a mix of equity and debt. Under the arrangement, Imagicaaworld will provide end-to-end operations and management services covering park operations, guest experience, safety systems, food and beverage, and revenue optimisation, earning a management fee of 6 per cent to 10 per cent.

Shanku’s Water Park spans over 25 acres and houses more than 25 rides and attractions. It draws visitors from Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mehsana and surrounding areas and has recently undergone renovation including upgraded water filtration systems. The park is located within roughly one hour of Ahmedabad and GIFT City.

The announcement comes alongside the company’s Q4FY26 results, which showed revenue from operations of ₹91.9 crore. Footfalls across its parks rose 5 per cent year-on-year to 6.21 lakh visitors, signalling steady consumer demand.

Managing Director Jai Malpani said Gujarat’s rising discretionary spending and growing tourism activity made it a priority market, and that the company intended to use its operational expertise to drive footfalls and improve guest experience at the acquired property.

On the NSE, Imagicaaworld shares closed at ₹42.07 on Monday, down 2.66 per cent on the day. The stock has shed approximately 36 per cent over the past year and trades at a trailing P/E of over 3,800, reflecting thin earnings against its market capitalisation of roughly ₹2,366 crore.

The company owns and operates Imagicaa, WetnJoy, Aqua Imagicaa and Sai Teerth parks at various locations across India.
