Early investors in Billionbrains Garage Ventures, the parent of stockbroking platform Groww, are set to pare stake through a block deal worth about Rs. 4,750 crore ($498 million), according to the term sheet of the transaction. The selling investors include Peak XV Partners Investments VI-1, Sequoia Capital Global Growth Fund III — US/India Annex Fund LP, YC Holdings II LLC of Y Combinator and entities affiliated with Ribbit Capital. The proposed share sale involves up to 26.84 crore shares, representing around 4.3 per cent of the company’s existing total shares outstanding.

Rossell Techsys expands manufacturing footprint, nearly doubles capacity

Rossell Techsys Ltd has announced a significant expansion of its manufacturing footprint to strengthen its operational capabilities. The company has leased an additional facility near its current unit to support growing customer programs. This expansion will nearly double the existing footprint. Rossell Techsys currently operates with a capacity of 255,000 square feet and utilises 175,000 square feet. The new facility adds a proposed 210,000 square feet, bringing total potential operational space to over 460,000 square feet.

Bharat Forge enters Embraer global aerospace supply chain

Bharat Forge Ltd. (BFL), a global leader in advanced forging and precision engineering, has entered into a long-term contract with Embraer for the manufacturing and supply of critical landing gear forgings and has become the first supplier from India to enter Embraer’s global Aerospace supply chain for forged components. Under the agreement, Bharat Forge will supply high-integrity forged components for landing gear systems across Embraer’s commercial and defence aircraft programs. This engagement reinforces Bharat Forge’s expanding role in the global aerospace supply chain and strengthens its position as a trusted partner for complex, safety-critical components.

HFCL secures $19.32 million optical fibre export orders

HFCL Ltd has secured export orders worth $19.32 million (approximately INR 183.95 crore) for the supply of optical fibre cables from renowned international customers. These orders reaffirm the confidence our customers reposed in the Company’s manufacturing capabilities, technological excellence, and product quality.

Nemetschek and NCCCL partner to transform Indian construction with BIM

In a landmark move set to redefine the DNA of Indian infrastructure, Nemetschek Group India, a global titan in AEC/O software, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with New Consolidated Construction Company Ltd. (NCCCL), a legacy leader in the Indian construction industry. This three-year partnership aims to shatter traditional construction bottlenecks by embedding high-velocity Building Information Modelling (BIM) and structured digital workflows into the heart of India’s most complex projects. By executing pilot projects that serve as scalable benchmarks, including developments such as Runwal’s RMall, Dombivli and L&T Realty’s Mahim project, the two organisations will demonstrate measurable gains in design validation, project transparency, and operational control. These projects will also mark the initial deployment of Nemetschek’s Bluebeam to streamline collaboration, documentation, and real-time project workflows across stakeholders.

H.G. Infra wins ₹3,931 crore Maharashtra highway project

H.G. Infra Engineering Ltd has received a Letter of Award from Welspun Enterprises Ltd in Maharashtra on May 11 for the project titled ‘Construction of 6-lane (including partially elevated) Highway Corridor’. The project cost is Rs. 3931.11 crores (Excluding taxes).

ACME Solar commissions battery storage project in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd, through its wholly owned subsidiary, i.e. ACME Sun Power Pvt Ltd, has commissioned a 33.333 MW/160.484 MWh capacity Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project in Rajasthan. The commercial operation date will be May 13. With this, ACME Sun Power Private Limited has achieved a commissioned capacity of 233.336 MW / 1123.424 MWh.

United Drilling Tools bags ONGC order

United Drilling Tools Ltd has received a domestic order from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd for the supply of large OD casing pipe with a multi-start connector in the ordinary course of business. The Estimated Contract Value is Rs 10.35 crore.

Onix Solar Energy to raise ₹60 crore via rights issue

The rights issue committee of the Board of Directors of Onix Solar Energy Ltd has approved an issuance of over 1.17 crore equity shares, aiming to raise approximately ₹60.17 crore, assuming full subscription. The company will offer fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The Rights Issue price has been fixed at ₹51 a share. The rights entitlement ratio has been fixed as 8:17.

Shivam Pipes wins ₹9.08 crore RDSS power order

Shivam Pipes, a 51% subsidiary of KD Green Industries Ltd (earlier known as Manbro Industries Limited), has secured orders aggregating to ₹ 9.08 crore (approx.) for the supply of Galvanised Steel Tubular Electric Poles to the north eastern state electricity boards. These orders have been received under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (’RDSS’) with a delivery timeline of 1 to 4 months. The orders have been awarded through contractors executing power distribution for respective utilities and government agencies.

Kovai Medical restructures education business under new regulations

Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital Ltd has announced a significant restructuring of its educational services segment. The board has approved the transfer of its Allied Health Sciences (AHS) courses division to Dr NGP Research and Educational Trust. The decision to divest the AHS division stems from recent legislative changes under the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021. These new regulations have introduced stringent requirements and conditions for healthcare courses, necessitating substantial additional investment in infrastructure and resources.

DMR Engineering wins Bhutan hydropower consultancy contract

DMR Engineering Ltd has received a work order for consulting services for the design and engineering of the diversion tunnel and its ancillary works for the 570MW Wangchhu Hydropower Project located in Bhutan. The contract period for the work is 8 months, with an aggregate amount of Rs 1.80 crore, exclusive of taxes.

Graphite India increases stake in US firm GrafTech

Graphite India Ltd has announced a significant increase in its investment in GrafTech International Ltd., a prominent US-based competitor listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Graphite India has infused additional capital into GrafTech, strengthening its position in the global graphite electrode market with an incremental investment of: ₹62.25 crore. The company has made a cumulative investment of ₹230.38 crore, and its shareholding has increased from 6.82% to 9.79%.

Afcons Infrastructure wins largest overseas railway project

Afcons Infrastructure Ltd has received intimation of the client’s decision to select it as the most suitable bidder, with a proposal to accept its bid for the rehabilitation and construction of a Railway Line in Europe. This project underscores Afcons’ long-term commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure globally and marks the company’s largest international order to date.
