Practo appoints Srijesh Kumar as Global CPTO
2026-04-14 · via Company News: Companies Analysis, Updates & Insights | The HinduBusinessLine

Digital healthcare platform Practo announced the appointment of Srijesh Kumar as their Global Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), as per the company.

In this role, Srijesh will lead Practo’s product and technology teams end-to-end, driving the next phase of its platform evolution as it scales across global markets and continues to enhance patient and provider experiences.

His appointment comes at a time when the company is preparing for its IPO.

“We’re at an inflection point in how technology is shaping healthcare globally, with AI redefining how systems are built, scaled and experienced,” said Shashank ND, Founder and CEO, Practo. “Srijesh brings deep expertise in building platforms at global scale with a strong product mindset, and his experience will be invaluable as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI in healthcare. I am excited to have him join an exceptional group of leaders at Practo who are collectively shaping the next phase of our growth and impact across markets, and I look forward to what we will build together from here.”

As CPTO, Srijesh will be responsible for aligning product and technology into a unified charter, strengthening platform architecture, accelerating product innovation, and building systems that can leverage Practo’s deep healthcare data to deliver more consistent and measurable outcomes.

He will work closely with teams across engineering, product and data to further embed intelligence into every layer of the platform from discovery and decision-making to care delivery and follow-ups.

“What drew me to Practo is the opportunity to work on problems that have a real, human impact at scale. Healthcare is one of the most meaningful areas where technology can make a life-changing difference, not just in improving access but in reducing suffering and enabling better health outcomes,” said Srijesh Kumar, Global Chief Product and Technology Officer, Practo. “At the same time, the opportunity to build from India for the world is deeply compelling for me. India today has the talent and capability to build platforms that can scale globally, and Practo has already demonstrated that. I am looking forward to building on this foundation and contributing to the next phase of its global journey.”

Earlier stints

Srijesh brings over two decades of experience in building and scaling large, enterprise-grade platforms, with a strong track record across product engineering, architecture and leadership. Most recently, he served as Vice President at Salesforce, where he led product engineering within Industries cloud for loyalty, promotions management and other marketing excellence capabilities.

Prior to this, Srijesh spent several years at Expedia Group, where he built and led large, distributed engineering and product teams across core travel platforms, helping scale systems globally and integrate acquisitions into a unified architecture. He has also held leadership roles at Punchh, and earlier in his career contributed to foundational product and platform development at Adobe and Microsoft.

Srijesh’s appointment builds on the recent addition of Cijo George as Vice President of Artificial Intelligence, reflecting Practo’s continued investment in strengthening its technology leadership for the next phase of global growth.
