P Sujith, ED (Projects), MRPL

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has appointed Pattathil Sujith as Executive Director (Projects).

Prior to his elevation, Sujith was serving as Group General Manager – Corporate Strategy, where he played a key role in driving strategic initiatives, business planning, and long-term growth strategies of the company.

As Executive Director (Projects), he will spearhead the planning, execution, and commissioning of major capital projects and infrastructure initiatives critical to MRPL’s expansion, modernisation, and long-term growth objectives. A media statement said he will also play a key role in advancing the company’s strategic diversification and energy transition initiatives.

A native of Palakkad in Kerala, he is a mechanical engineer with over three decades of industry experience. Since joining MRPL in 1993, he has gained extensive experience across various functions, including maintenance, reliability, engineering and inspection, projects, and corporate strategy.

Over the course of his career, he has played a key role in the commissioning of the refinery’s phase I, II, and III units, establishment of the asset integrity management system for the phase III complex, and execution of MRPL’s BS-VI project.
