Interio by Godrej, the furniture brand from Godrej Enterprises, is aiming to grow its revenues by 25 per cent in the current financial year ending March 2027, as part of its broader goal to reach ₹10,000 crore in topline by 2029.

The company closed FY26 with revenues of ₹4,000 crore, which was a similar 25 per cent increase from the preceding fiscal. Its topline mix included about 55 per cent from its institutional business where it designs and builds interiors for workspaces while the remaining 45 per cent came from furniture sales to retail consumers.

Speaking at a press conference here on Wednesday, Dev Narayan Sarkar, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Business (B2C), said that there remains significant headroom for growth for an organised player like Interio in the furniture market.

“India’s furniture market is estimated at about ₹1.5 lakh crore out of which only about ₹8,000 crore is under the organised segment. The market has huge potential. People are increasingly spending more time in their homes. The requirement of great furniture is important and growing,” he said.

On the production side, he added that the company will, over the course of the year, dynamically invest to scale both capacity and footprint. The company currently operates seven units in India with a dedicated unit for exports in Tambaram near Chennai.

Alongside, it also operates three international units catering to export markets. Interio’s export business contributes roughly ₹400 crore to the topline with Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and West Asia being the key markets.

As for the distribution, Sarkar added that the brand has increased its online presence in recent years both through its own website and online marketplaces. Online accounts for roughly 11 per cent of overall sales while the remaining comes from offline physical stores.

“We have 1,015 showrooms across India which contribute to about 70 per cent of our offline retail value. The rest 30 per cent comes from our distributor network of 3,700 retailers,” he said.

On the Tamil Nadu market, Sarkar said that Interio is expecting revenues of ₹65 crore from the state in FY27 with over 70 per cent of it coming from Chennai. It operates 45 stores in the state along with 250 retail partners.

On the Iran-US war, he said that the impact on production has been minimal though there has been a slight increase in the input costs due to a 10 per cent rise in the prices of Polyethylene (PE) resin.
