Taazé, a Chennai-based QSR restaurant, has announced that Indian cricketer Varun Chakaravarthy and actress Aishwarya Rajesh have picked up minority stakes in the company.

Chakaravarthy has picked up a 12.5 per cent stake while Rajesh has bought 10 per cent of the company.

The brand focuses on items like hummus, crisps and other nutritionally balanced offerings. As part of its next phase of growth, Taazé is expanding into smart vending machines in high-frequency consumption areas such as offices, gyms, and public spaces.
