Swan Corp swings to Q4 profit on shipyard business surge;...
By BL Ahmedabad Bureau · 2026-05-29 · via Company News: Companies Analysis, Updates & Insights | The HinduBusinessLine

Swan Corp Ltd (formerly Swan Energy Ltd) reported a consolidated net profit of ₹251 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, compared with a loss of ₹22 crore in the corresponding period last year, driven largely by a sharp jump in revenue from its shipyard business.

Revenue from the company’s shipyard segment surged to ₹236 crore during the quarter from just ₹5 crore a year earlier, emerging as the key growth driver for the diversified group.

The company operates across seven business verticals including textiles, energy, construction, distribution and development, warehousing, manufacturing and shipyard operations.

Among other businesses, the textiles segment posted a 36 per cent growth during the quarter, while the distribution and development business grew 29 per cent year-on-year. Revenue from the warehousing business remained largely flat, while the construction segment witnessed a 37 per cent decline during the quarter.

The company also reported no revenue from its energy segment in FY26, compared with ₹381 crore reported from the segment in FY25, indicating a sharp decline in contribution from the business during the year.

Despite the sharp turnaround in quarterly profitability, the company reported a weaker full-year performance for FY26. Consolidated net profit declined 69 per cent year-on-year to ₹271 crore, while revenue from operations fell 11 per cent to ₹4,371 crore.

The board has recommended a dividend of Re 0.15 per equity share of face value ₹1 each, equivalent to 15 per cent, for FY26.
