Rare Rabbit partners with accessories platform Escape Plan
2026-05-22 · via Company News: Companies Analysis, Updates & Insights | The HinduBusinessLine

Rare Rabbit, the premium fashion and lifestyle apparel brand under The House of Rare, has ventured into the travel gear category through a strategic partnership with Escape Plan, the design-first, fashion-forward travel accessories platform.

Rare Rabbit has long catered to aspirational urban consumers seeking elevated wardrobe and lifestyle pieces.

With this launch, the brand extends that philosophy beyond apparel to position travel gear as a seamless extension of personal identity.

Manish Poddar, Founder & Creative Director, The House of Rare said through the partnership with Escape Plan, the company is bringing the Rare design philosophy into a new category, with the same creative rigour and long-term vision that have shaped the company’s brand.

The natural extension of the lifestyle universe, where every touchpoint reflects the individuality and aspirations of consumer, he added.

Abhinav Pathak, Co-Founder and CEO, Escape Plan said despite travel becoming more frequent, aspirational and lifestyle driven, the travel gear category has remained functional.

“We see a clear opportunity to build a premium segment where design, durability and identity come together.

“Partnering with Rare Rabbit allows us to accelerate that vision with a brand that understands premium consumers deeply. Together, we are positioning Indian luxury travel as a category that can stand independently, both commercially and culturally,” he said.

With this partnership, Rare Rabbit moves beyond the wardrobe to redefine modern India travels.

In 2025, the House of Rare launched a cultural platform called RareFore. It celebrates India’s creative spirit through culture, music, food, art, and storytelling - spotlighting those who stay true to their craft.
