Nayara Energy has resumed operations at its 400,000 barrels-per-day Vadinar refinery after a maintenance shutdown, two sources with knowledge of the matter said.
* The refinery resumed operations last week around May 13, one of the sources said.
* Nayara did not respond to a Reuters email seeking comment.
* Nayara Energy, majority-owned by Russian entities including oil major Rosneft, had fully shut its refinery in western Gujarat state for maintenance from April 9.
* Nayara was originally scheduled to shut the refinery for a month-long maintenance last year but had to postpone the plan as European Union sanctions made it difficult to secure key items required for the turnaround.
