Nifty has managed to sustain well above 23,000 all through last week. The rise on Friday has given some relief. If the Nifty 50 manages to get a strong follow-through rise from here, then the danger of seeing more fall will be avoided. Nifty can then rise more. We will have to wait and see. The Nifty Bank index, on the other hand, looks bullish and is set to rise more.

Nifty can rise to 24,200 and 24,500 on a break above 23,800. Support is at 23,350.

The Nifty Bank index can rise to 58,000-58,500. Support is in the 55,500-55,000 region.
