Mitigata, an AI-native full-stack cyber resilience platform, has raised $15 million in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with continued participation from existing backers Nexus Venture Partners, Titan Capital, and WEH Ventures.
The company will use the capital to double its team by deepening investments in talent across AI, research and development, product, engineering, and customer success. The funds will also scale Mitigata’s Security Operations Centre to become the largest in India while accelerating the platform’s international expansion.
Speaking on the vision behind the platform, Mohit Anand, Co-founder and CEO of Mitigata, stated, “Cybersecurity is entering an AI-first era. We believe India has a unique opportunity to build world-class cyber resilience infrastructure from India, for the world.”
Pankaj Mitra, Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, added that “the accelerating number of AI-driven malicious attacks, combined with a severe shortage of cybersecurity talent, has resulted in a perfect storm for Indian enterprises.” He noted that the team has built an “AI-native resilience platform that services enterprises across their cybersecurity journey.” Highlighting the national urgency, Sarthak Dubey, Co-founder and COO of Mitigata, remarked, “India is already under attack. A nation cannot outsource the defence of its most critical systems.”
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Bengaluru, Mitigata is India’s first AI-native cyber resilience operating system and its first IRDAI-regulated cyber insurance broker. Supporting over 800 organisations across sectors like BFSI and healthcare, the startup has triaged over one million security incidents. Its ecosystem includes Gordon AI, the RELIQ risk engine, the Dranta privacy platform, and Scan by Mitigata.
