Tata Consultancy Services partnered with Swedish industrial manufacturer SKF to rollout a next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform.

With this multi-year, multi-million dollar deal, TCS will help SKF create a globally connected operating model, combining centralised, AI-enabled systems and harmonised processes with the flexibility to meet local market needs. It supports SKF to embed AI in every layer across IT, business and products thereby driving faster growth, enhancing customer experience, and advancing strategic priorities at both global and regional levels.

“Our partnership with SKF is centred on modernising its global IT landscape and building a resilient, scalable digital foundation for the future,” Tata Consultancy Services MD and CEO K Krithivasan said.

The partnership also aims to embed AI across IT systems, business operations and products to improve customer experience and support long-term growth.

“The next decade of industrial manufacturing will be defined by how deeply companies integrate AI into how they design, produce, and serve. SKF intends to lead that shift,” Rickard Gustafson, CEO of SKF, said.

TCS said its full-stack AI capabilities, spanning infrastructure to intelligence, would support SKF’s broader business transformation initiatives across the industrial value chain. Currently, over 20,000 TCS employees support leading enterprises in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark, driving growth and transformation for some of the region’s top corporations across multiple sectors.
