The Pulsus Group will be expanding its operations of Ameenpur AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation Hub here targeting a direct workforce of 6,000.
The expansion move follows a Supreme Court ruling that upheld the project’s IT/ITeS and SEZ status, clearing the way for accelerated development and fresh investment.
“With the project now gaining ITES-SEZ status, our goal is to accelerate efforts to establish one of Telangana’s leading AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation campuses, creating more than 6,000 high-quality jobs for engineers, healthcare professionals, researchers and digital specialists,” Gedela Srinubabu, CEO, Pulsus Group said in a release on Monday.
Omics International, a part of Pulses Group, generated 2,836 direct jobs by March 2022 and is targeting around 6,000 jobs in Visakhapatnam, while supporting an estimated 30,000 indirect jobs. The company’s at Ameenpur here operations, where employment has created about 1,500 of the proposed 6,000 direct jobs, the release added.
