A two-day Wheat Products Promotion Society (WPPS) CEO’s conclave, themed “Redefining Wheat Value Chains for a New India”, will be held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, from July 9. 

WPPS in association with the Uttar Pradesh Roller Flour Mills Association is organising the conclave, which is expected to bring together over 300 senior industry leaders, flour millers, wheat traders, food manufacturers, grain procurement professionals, technology providers, researchers, policymakers, and allied industry stakeholders from across India and overseas.

A WPPS release said India’s the conclave would provide a common platform for industry leaders to discuss emerging opportunities, challenges, and collaborative solutions for strengthening the wheat ecosystem with the sector undergoing rapid transformation.

Ajay Goyal, Chairman, WPPS, said the wheat industry plays a vital role in India’s food security, nutrition, and economic growth.

“As the sector evolves, there is a growing need for greater collaboration among farmers, millers, food manufacturers, traders, researchers, and policymakers. The WPPS CEO’s Conclave 2026 will provide a unique platform to exchange ideas, share best practices, and collectively shape the future of India’s wheat value chain.”

Focus areas

Key focus areas of the conclave will be the future of wheat production and sustainability, flour milling technologies and processing innovations, bakery, noodles, pasta and value-added wheat products,  wheat procurement, storage and supply chains, domestic and global market trends, trade opportunities and export potential, consumer preferences and retail developments, and industry leadership and business growth strategies.

 A highlight of the event will be the WPPS Awards 2026, recognising outstanding contributions to India’s wheat, flour milling, bakery, food processing, nutrition, procurement, and allied industries.

Over 40 distinguished individuals and organisations are expected to be recognised during the awards ceremony on July 10.

WPPS invited industry professionals, flour millers, bakers, food manufacturers, traders, ingredient suppliers, researchers, academicians, and students to participate in the conclave.
