Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited (NAM India) reported a consolidated profit after tax of ₹3.85 billion for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, a 29 per cent increase year-on-year, though down 5 per cent sequentially from the previous quarter. For the full financial year FY26, consolidated PAT rose 19 per cent to ₹15.29 billion.

Revenue from operations grew 30 per cent year-on-year to ₹7.39 billion in Q4 FY26, while core operating profit surged 39 per cent to ₹4.93 billion in the same period. Full-year revenue stood at ₹27.09 billion, up 21 per cent over FY25. The company declared a total dividend of ₹21.50 per share for FY26, distributing approximately 91.5 per cent of standalone earnings to shareholders.

On the assets front, NAM India’s total closing AUM reached ₹7.73 trillion, comprising ₹6.65 trillion in mutual funds, ₹940 billion in managed accounts, and ₹139 billion in international assets. The company maintained its position as the fourth largest AMC in India by quarterly average AUM, which stood at ₹7,250 billion, up 30 per cent year-on-year. It also retained the top spot among non-bank sponsored and foreign-owned AMCs.

Market share expanded to 8.89 per cent, an increase of 63 basis points year-on-year. The ETF segment was a standout performer, with quarterly average AUM of ₹2,420 billion, up 57 per cent year-on-year, and a market share of 21.4 per cent.

NAM India’s unique investor base grew to 23.8 million, representing a 38.8 per cent market share, with total folios at 39.4 million. Quarterly systematic flows came in at ₹108.7 billion, up 12 per cent year-on-year.

Digital transactions crossed 5.04 million in Q4 FY26, contributing 77 per cent of total purchase and new SIP registrations — up from 44 per cent in the same quarter last year.

The industry mutual fund AUM reached ₹79.5 trillion in FY26, equivalent to 23 per cent of India’s GDP, with monthly SIP flows hitting an all-time high of ₹321 billion in March 2026.
