Apple’s largest Indian retail partner, Unicorn Infosolutions, announced on Wednesday that it plans to reach a revenue target of ₹6,000 crore within three years by opening 50 new stores.

The company currently operates 100 stores across 49 cities and nine States, with a turnover of ₹3,700 crore in fiscal year 2025-26. It is now planning to expand the stores to tier-III and IV cities over the next two years, as a lot of traction is coming from those areas as well, Baljinder Paul Singh, Director, Unicorn Infosolutions, told businessline here.

Speaking at the opening of its 100^th store here, Singh said that Unicorn is a premium partner of Apple because it gives better experience to the customers and the larger format of stores helps defining the premium category, just like Apple’s own stores.

Unicorn opened its first single-brand store in Ahmedabad in 2006, and since then, it has been expanding its outlets across North and West India, selling Apple products and accessories. Being Apple’s largest sales and service partner in the country, Unicorn is the first ones to open 100 stores.

“If you see, typically this kind of store format would be found in any other countries, and you would see the same kind of furniture fixtures. All the premium stores will have the same fixtures, so the investment of furniture fixtures is done by Apple, and the rest is all ours,” Singh explained.

Unicorn’s growth

He said the company’s business has been growing in the range of 15-20 per cent year-on-year, but it is expected to grow at a higher rate after opening of the new stores over the coming months.

With the upcoming stores, the company also plans to hire around 500 people from a team of over 1,500 professionals at present, Singh added. Unicorn operates Apple Mono Brand Stores and Apple Authorised Service Centres across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Goa.
