Led by strong volume growth and focus on global products, Eicher Motors Limited (EML) on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,520 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31 (Q4 FY26), recording a year-on-year (y-o-y) growth of 11.5 per cent, compared with ₹1,362.15 crore in the same period previous year.
Consolidated total revenue from operations also grew by 16 per cent y-o-y to ₹6,080 crore during the quarter in review against ₹5,241 crore in the corresponding quarter in FY25.
For the full financial year FY26, the company reported a jump of 25 per cent y-o-y in consolidated net profit at ₹5,634 crore, compared to ₹4,504 crore in FY25. Similarly, the consolidated revenue from operations grew 24 per cent y-o-y to ₹23,407.56 crore last year compared to ₹18,870 crore in the previous financial year.
Enfield sales
Royal Enfield recorded its highest-ever annual sales, surpassing 1.2 million units in FY26, marking the second consecutive year it has crossed one million in annual sales, the company said. Total volumes stood at 12,27,977 units, a 22 per cent y-o-y increase, it said, adding that domestic sales grew 23 per cent to 11,07,343 units, while international volumes grew 20 per cent with 1,20,634 motorcycles exported.
“FY26 has been an exceptional year for Eicher Motors and Royal Enfield, marked by strong growth, record volumes, and a continued focus on our global ambitions during our 125th anniversary. We also marked a major milestone in April 2026 with our entry into the electric mobility space via the launch of the Flying Flea C6. International business remains a key priority as we steadily deepen our presence in markets like Brazil,” said B Govindarajan, Managing Director, Eicher Motors, and Chief Executive Officer, Royal Enfield. This year, the company also took the brand into new cultural spaces, ranging from gaming collaborations to marquee community rides, to strengthen its global identity, he said.
“To power our next phase of growth, we have committed to significant investments, including the brownfield capacity expansion at Cheyyar with ₹958 crore and our strategic expansion plan at Tada in Andhra Pradesh, both aimed at building future-ready capacity to support our long-term projected growth,” Govindarajan said.
He added that the company will also invest around ₹3,400 crore in FY27 — including ₹2,200 crore for Royal Enfield and ₹1,000-1,200 crore for VE Commercial Vehicles on new product product development including EVs.
Meanwhile, the Board of the company recommended final dividend of ₹82 per equity share of face value of ₹1 each for FY26, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing 44th Annual General Meeting.
Shares of EML closed at ₹6,983.70 apiece on the BSE on Friday, up 1.22 per cent from the previous close.
